This new sugar alternative is derived from chicory root and appears to work on the hormone ghrelin. Ghrelin is what actually raises the level of the peptide YY which actually suppresses hunger. It not only reduces your caloric intake but help you feel fuller as well.

You can find Oligofructose otherwise know as inulin in products on your grocery shelf such a Yoplait yogurt, Curves Granola Bar, Fiber One and Luna bars. You can find the sweetener at you local health food store as well as online and add it to your favorite recipes and drinks.
